Husband & wife duo, Matt & Amelia Pocta, founded Bald Cypress Builders in 2020 on a mission to create "worth it" experiences for homeowners undergoing residential remodeling projects. Matt is a licensed residential builder and brings years of practical experience in the industry. He's a carpenter by trade, and a self-proclaimed building science/strategy enthusiast, which makes him uniquely positioned to meet clients where they are at in order to responsibly transform their spaces. Amelia's background is administrative by nature, having spent time in the higher education, marketing, and human resources worlds. Her goal is to streamline the design-build process at Bald Cypress Builders, and to transparently translate the construction industry for clients so they know what to expect every step of the way.
Today, the Bald Cypress Builders Team strives to be the go-to design-build residential remodeling company in the Midlands, specializing in custom large-scale residential remodeling projects like whole home remodels, kitchen & bathroom remodels, home additions, and more.
